The Power of Orange

Orange is a season fruit, rich in antioxidants and phytochemicals. Sweet orange is acceptable to both normal grouping as substantially as a patient. It crapper be taken as a full fruit or as juice. Orange and its humour are famous for drink, energetic, thirst killer, crescendo digestion power etc.

According to ICMR per 100 gramme of full chromatic contains 87.6 gramme of water, 1104 microgram of Carotene, 30 milligram of Ascorbic Elvis (vitamin-C), 10.9 gramme of Carbohydrate, 93 milligram of Potassium, 26 milligram of Calcium, 9 milligram of Magnesium, 0.3 gramme of fibers, 4.5 milligram of Sodium, 7 milligram of Chromium, 20 milligram of Phosphorous, 0.32 milligram of Iron and its energy value is 48 Kcal.

On the other hand, though the orange juice is easily digestible but its nutritional value is comparatively very less. 100 ml. orange juice contains 97.7 gramme water, 1.9 gramme of Carbohydrate, 15 microgram of Carotene, 0.7 milligram of Iron, 64 milligram of Ascorbic acid, 9 milligram of Phosphorus and 9 milligram of Calcium. Besides those very little amounts of Thiamin, Riboflavin and Niacin are obtained from orange juice.
